A VERY SPECIAL WEDDING IN CALA SAONA
As a wedding photographer, every story is a unique canvas, and Etienne and Delphine’s wedding in paradisiacal Formentera was a chapter full of romance and beauty. This charming couple, hailing from elegant Paris, chose the Balearic island to seal their love in an idyllic setting: a cliff near Cala Saona, with breathtaking views of the shimmering Mediterranean Sea.
From the moment they arrived, the atmosphere was imbued with the magic of the place and the undeniable connection between Etienne and Delphine. With the gentle sea breeze caressing them, the couple exchanged vows in a hidden corner, with the horizon as a witness and the waves whispering their blessing. As a wedding photographer, my task was to capture the essence of this unique moment, and each image sought to eternalize the promise of love that echoed off that magical cliff.
After the ceremony, we headed to a spectacular villa owned by the family, where the celebration reached new heights. Parisian elegance blended perfectly with the relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere. The villa, with panoramic views and lush gardens, provided the perfect setting for an intimate and stylish celebration.
The evening glided by with laughter, toasts and emotional moments. Every corner of the villa became a stage to capture Etienne and Delphine’s joy, from the dance floor to the quiet corners where they shared complicit glances. As a wedding photographer, my goal was to immortalize not only the big moments, but also the little subtleties that make each wedding unique.
The sunset in Formentera painted the sky with warm, golden hues, providing a spectacular backdrop for the couple’s photo shoot. Etienne and Delphine surrendered to the magic of the moment, and each image reflected the bliss of a day that will remain etched in their hearts.
Etienne and Delphine’s wedding was a journey from elegance on the cliff to exuberance in the villa, a visual odyssey that as a wedding photographer I was honored to document. Each photograph tells the story of a love that transcended geographical boundaries and found its home in the serene beauty of Formentera.
