MEET DAVID
I didn’t start as a wedding photographer. My background is in fashion and editorial work, which taught me how to see light, composition, and storytelling through a different lens. But weddings, especially destination weddings in Italy, became my focus because they combine everything I love: design, emotion, travel, and the challenge of documenting something unrepeatable. There’s no second take on your wedding day, and that’s exactly what makes it so compelling to photograph.
When you’re planning a destination wedding from thousands of miles away, you need someone who understands the logistics, the venues, the light in Italy, and how to make your day flow seamlessly. But more than that, you need someone you trust. Someone who gets your aesthetic, respects your vision, and genuinely cares about telling your story well.
I take on a limited number of weddings each year because I want to give each couple the attention and creative energy their day deserves. If we’re a good fit, you’re not just hiring a photographer. You’re gaining someone who’s as invested in your Italy wedding as you are.

I typically arrive the day before your wedding to scout the venue, check the light at different times of day, and coordinate with your planner or venue coordinator. This ensures I’m fully prepared and nothing is left to chance. On your wedding day, I’ll be there from the beginning of getting ready through your reception, capturing the full story from start to finish.
For most Italy weddings, I work alone. This keeps things intimate and unobtrusive, allowing me to document your day without a large crew disrupting the atmosphere.
For larger weddings (80+ guests) or if you want simultaneous coverage of getting ready in different locations, I can bring a trusted second shooter.
We’ll discuss what makes sense for your specific celebration during our initial consultation.
Drone coverage is available as an add-on service or included in select packages. If aerial shots of your Italian venue are important to you, we can discuss which option makes the most sense during our consultation.
The process is simple. First, we’ll have a video call to discuss your wedding vision, go over logistics, and make sure we’re a good fit. If you’d like to move forward, I’ll send you a contract and invoice for the booking retainer (30% of the total).
Once that’s signed and paid, your date is officially secured. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding.
Within 48 hours of your wedding, you’ll receive a sneak peek of approximately 20 edited images so you can relive the highlights while you’re still on your honeymoon or heading home.
Your full edited gallery will be delivered within 4-5 weeks and includes both digital and analog film images, professionally edited and delivered through a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your photos.
