An Intimate Tuscany Elopement at Castello di Casole
A Dreamy Elopement in the Heart of the Tuscan Countryside
As an Italy elopement photographer, I had the honor of capturing a timeless and elegant celebration at Castello di Casole, one of the most enchanting wedding venues in Tuscany, Italy. Surrounded by lush greenery and historic architecture, this location is a true gem for couples dreaming of a romantic and fashion-forward elopement in Italy.
If you’re dreaming of a romantic and intimate escape to say your vows, a Tuscany elopement might be exactly what your heart desires. Nestled in rolling hills, framed by cypress trees and golden light, Tuscany offers a perfect backdrop for couples who want to trade big crowds for meaningful moments.
Michelle and Andrzej flew in from Miami with a vision: to exchange vows in a secluded, soulful setting. Instead of a traditional wedding celebration back home, they chose the timeless beauty of Castello di Casole in Italy for a private and unforgettable experience.
"My style can be described as timeless, elegant and romantic, with a touch of nostalgia woven into each frame. I see myself as a visual storyteller. I believe in capturing not only moments, but also the emotions, laughter and tears that make each wedding day so special.”

Why Choose a Tuscany Elopement?
The Romance of Simplicity
A Tuscany elopement offers an opportunity to connect deeply with your partner, free from the expectations and logistics of a traditional wedding. It’s just the two of you, your promises, and the moment
From vineyard-lined hills to rustic stone castles, every corner of Tuscany radiates warmth and elegance. Castello di Casole, with its rich history and lush surroundings, creates a dreamlike stage for love.

A Love Story in Motion Arriving From Miami to the Rolling Hills of Italy
A Ceremony Among the Cypress Trees
Michelle and Andrzej arrived in Italy ready for something unique and unforgettable. They left behind the familiar and embraced the freedom of crafting a celebration that felt authentic and true to who they are.
Their intimate ceremony took place in a hidden garden, encircled by tall cypress trees and deep green fields. With only two witnesses, a celebrant, and myself as their elopement photographer, the moment felt sacred and profoundly personal.
As they exchanged vows, the atmosphere was quiet and deeply emotional. After sealing their promises, I handed them a surprise: Polaroid photos captured during the ceremony. They sat down, sipped champagne, smiled, and soaked in the joy of their moment together.

A Red Porsche and the Iconic Tuscan Landscape The Car, the Road, and the Cinematic Beauty of Tuscany
To add a touch of flair and style, the couple rented a stunning red Porsche — the perfect accent against Tuscany’s muted tones. One of our first stops was a picturesque country road lined with tall cypress trees, capturing the region’s iconic aesthetic.
From there, we explored the rustic elegance of the hotel’s historic facade and stumbled upon a quiet corner bursting with vibrant flowers, bathed in golden afternoon light.
A Martini Moment at the Hotel Bar
After our time on the road, we returned to Castello di Casole where Michelle and Andrzej ordered their favorite drinks: Martinis. They toasted again, locking eyes with joyful smiles that said everything without words. These moments, quiet and unrehearsed, speak volumes in their wedding gallery.
Golden Hour in the Gardens
As the sun dipped lower, we wandered into the communal gardens of Castello di Casole. The light was soft, dreamy, and golden — the perfect way to close a day that was nothing short of magical.

Why Elopements Like This Matter Meaning Over Magnitude
Couples like Michelle and Andrzej remind us that weddings don’t need to be grand to be memorable. Intimacy, intention, and atmosphere can create a celebration far more powerful than any ballroom reception.
Having a photographer who values and respects the quiet moments is key. My role is not just to document, but to gently guide and support, to observe and preserve your story without intrusion.
Planning Your Own Tuscany Elopement
- Best Time of Year: Spring (April-May) or early autumn (September-October) for perfect light and weather.
- Legal or Symbolic Ceremony: Many couples opt for a symbolic ceremony in Italy and legalize their marriage at home.
- Transportation: Renting a stylish car (like Michelle and Andrzej did) adds fun and flexibility.
- Photographer & Officiant: Choose professionals who understand destination weddings and the intimate nature of elopements.
